Very versatile boots. Whether you are into SCA, LARP, Renaissance, Pirating, Santa costuming, steampunk etc., these boots will carry you through. Wear em' upright, scrunch em', fold em'! We sell plenty of this style boot for ren faire, wedddings & theatre productions! Durable black leather boots feature soft fabric lining, a flat rubber grip sole and a1" heel. Like any leather footwear, these will soften & become more comfortable as you wear them. These boots do not have zippers which makes them more "period" appropriate. Due to requests, we rounded out the toe and made them a bit fuller through the toe box. This style only comes in black, medium width and whole sizes.
IMPORTANT SIZING GUIDELINES:
The overwhelming feedback on our new cut is to order the size you normally wear. If you are a solid 1/2 size, go up to the next size. If the boots feel a bit loose, you can wear a gel insole or an extra pair of socks.
EXAMPLE:
If you wear a solid 10.5 go up to an 11. If you are mostly a 10 go for the 10. (Don't let the sole length complicate things.)
Please note: We do offer the measurement of the boots although it is NOT the best way to fit your foot. Because your foot will change in arch, shape and size if you measure them standing as opposed to sitting ect., we highly recommend not using the sole length or width etc. Also, don't try to measure your own footwear for sole length because different styles of shoes have different "over hangs" ect. It simply is the least efficient way to fit yourself. Trust us, we've been doing this for several years now. Thus, the best way is to use the example above. However, if we don't include the measurements, people want them. Please do use the above example as your primary method of selecting your size and you'll be much more satisfied. Thank you.
