Ladies "Isabella's" are a feminine style made of black leather and are a medium width. They are surprisingly comfortable and give you a little lift through the 2 1/4"heel. Laces at back are a great new feature & these do not have a zipper which makes them more "period" appropriate. In addition to being worn upright (as photos show) these can also be "cuffed/folded" over to create a "bucket" as they are leather lined on the inside about 8" down the front center. It's always nice to have that option so that the boots remain versatile. This is a great book for costuming. These run about a size small. Thus, if you are a 7 go up to the 8. If you wear a 9, order the 10....etc. If you are in doubt of your size, it's always better to go up than down. Enjoy this new style!
